Hello! My Name is Anna. I grew up in Indiana, and have lived there all my life. I met my husband, George, of 26 years in church. We have been blessed with 4 children and 2 of our children have wonderful spouses who we claim as children as well. I have been employed by our local school district for 10 years. I started in special education, and I know work with the deaf/hard of hearing students – which I love!! I love spending time with my family, playing board games, and reading (curling up with a blanket, and a book is my favorite weekend activity). We also have one dog (Frodo), and three cats (Frosty, Snowball, and Simba).
Frodo, Snowball, and Frosty all started out as pets for the kids, and we have just kept them in our home as they have moved on to college, and apartments and homes of their own. A couple of years ago, I was struggling as our house was becoming a bit emptier, and the cats were getting older. My husband and daughters surprised me a couple of weeks before Christmas with our fluffy orange ball of fur, Simba. In typical orange cat fashion, Simba has stolen a place in my heart. I have always loved talking about books, to anyone who would listen. As a follower of Christ, I have also always loved how some books, especially Christian fiction, can present biblical truths into my life (especially those truths I struggle with). I pray that you my audience will benefit from my reading journey, and find those books that just resonate with you and you love as well.
